Anneliz Marie Erese is a writer of fiction, essays and poetry, with works appearing in print and online, including in Going Down Swinging, The Saturday Paper, Meanjin and Cordite Poetry Review, among others.​​​

She was a resident writer at the Vermont Studio Center (2024), a Hot Desk Fellow at The Wheeler Centre (2023), and a scholar at the Faber Writing Academy (2023). She was also the winner of the Deborah Cass Prize (2022) and the Deakin Postgraduate Prize in Writing and Literature (2022).

Born and raised in Metro Manila, Philippines, she currently lives on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia.​

Her debut novel will be published through Black Inc. in 2027.
